The West London club have endured a mixed start to the 2021/2022 season so far, no thanks to several key players picking up varying injuries and the outbreak of coronavirus amid the squad.
Despite all these, Chelsea are still very much in contention for the Premier League title as they are currently sitted in 3rd position on the table following their most recent 3-1 victory over Aston Villa on Sunday.
But now, Chelsea could be rocked with reports that experienced winger Hakim Ziyech is in line to leave the club when the transfer window opens in January.
The 28-year-old Morocco International, who signed up for Chelsea in 2020 has struggled to cement a spot in the starting eleven under manager Thomas Tuchel so far.
The experienced attacker was quite involved for Chelsea during the 2020/2021 season where he scored six goals and created four assists in 39 appearances in all competitions.
Hakim Ziyech has however been a bit part player for Chelsea so far this season and was an unused substitution when Chelsea defeated Aston Villa on Boxing day.
And now, Hakim Ziyech is said to be disappointed with the lack of regular football at Chelsea and he could now be planning on leaving the club when the transfer window opens.
And according to reports from The Sun, Serie A side AC Milan are interested in his services and are set to take him away from Chelsea on a loan move in January.
The reports further claimed that Chelsea are prepared to let Hakim Ziyech leave the club and they are ready to approve a loan transfer for him when the transfer window opens.
If signed, Hakim Ziyech will definitely improve the current squad of AC Milan as they aim to challenge the likes of Napoli and Inter Milan for the Serie A title this season.
