Chelsea’s number 10 has played a pivotal role in Chelsea’s change of form this season and in the weekends game against Liverpool, he broke the record for the number of successful dribbles completed by a single player in a given game week.
Most number of dribbles in a single Premier League game this season
As you can see from the data table above, Eden Hazard overtook a number of Premier League players in terms of successful dribbles, after Chelsea’s 1-1 draw against Liverpool this past weekend.
The Belgian international managed to dribble with the ball successfully 10 times, 2 more times than any other player has been able to do so in a single game week.
Not only was this a good week for Hazard in terms of dribbling, but he has also been very successful in this department throughout the season despite missing a number of games at the start of the season due to injury.

As you can see below, Hazard’s 10 successful dribbles against Liverpool took him above Crystal Palace winger, Andros Townsend, despite playing 490 minutes less than him.
Hazard’s dribbling is so impressive that he manages to complete a successful dribble every 15 minutes, 11 minutes more often than any other Premier League player inside the top 10 of most successful dribbles completed.
At this point last, Eden Hazard had completed 54 dribbles, but played 1,084 minutes, meaning he was only recording a successful dribble every 20 minutes.
